I have the honour to transmit

a copy of a letter in which Sir F. Piggott has again dealt

with the questions of an increase in the number of the

Judges of the Supreme Court, of holding Criminal Sessions

bi-monthly, and of an allowance to the Chief Justice for a

Private Secretary, concerning which questions the decisions

embodied in Your Lordship's Confidential Despatch of the

Bubl 18th. July were duly communicated to the Chief Justice.
